WHERE DO WE PLAY?
The Experience at Koele, Lanai

Course Designer: Greg Norman
Golf Professional: Ted Robinson
Course Length:
- 5,425 yards from forward tees
- 6,217 yards from resort tees
- 6,628 yards from championship tees
- 7,014 yards from tournament tees

MEN'S: FORWARD RESORT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
Course Rating: 66.0 69.7  71.5 73.3
Slope: 123 130 134 141

Attire: Standard golf attire for men and ladies. Collared shirts, slacks (no jeans), shorts (not over 1" above knee), golf shoes with plastic spikes.
Features: Built on 163 acres, leaving untouched as much of the island’s flora as possible, the course is designed to take advantage of its natural terrain. The first seven holes meander across high country at an altitude of 2,000 feet. The "signature hole," Number 8, plays from a 250-foot elevated tee to a fairway bordered by a lake along its right side, and trees and dense shrubs along its left. The course's back nine drops dramatically through ravines wooded with pine, koa and eucalyptus trees. Water features, a Ted Robinson trademark, are everywhere: seven lakes, flowing streams with cascading waterfalls, and one green, Number 17, that is completely surrounded by a lake.
Recent Awards: - "Top 50 Golf Resorts" (2000) - Conde Nast Traveler
- "America's Best Resort Gold & Silver Medal Resort Awards" (2000) - Golf Magazine
Transportation: Complimentary shuttle service is provided for registered resort guests to all resort activity locations including the golf courses, tennis courts, Lanai Pine Sporting Clays and stables.
